Ingredients:

Cannabutter:

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

3.5 grams (⅛ oz) high-quality cannabis (decarboxylated)

Brownie Batter:

½ cup cannabutter (melted)

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ cup all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp baking powder

½ cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra gooeyness)

½ cup chopped nuts (optional, for crunch)

Instructions:

Step 1: Make Cannabutter

1. Decarb Your Weed: Preheat oven to 240°F (115°C). Grind your cannabis and spread it on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Infuse the Butter: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt ½ cup butter. Add decarbed cannabis and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Strain through a cheesecloth into a jar, discarding the plant material.

Step 2: Make Brownie Batter

3. Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted cannabutter and sugar until smooth.

5. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully incorporated.

6. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined (don’t overmix!).

7. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).

Step 3: Bake

8. Pour batter into the greased pan and spread evenly.

9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs (don’t overbake for maximum fudginess!).

10. Let cool completely before cutting into 12-16 squares.
