What’s up, everyone? Annabelle back again with a story for those curious about dab rigs and e-vapes. Until recently, I was strictly a flower and bong type of girl, but a buddy convinced me to try out his e-rig for some concentrates he’d picked up at a local dispensary. I was a little nervous, I’d heard dabbing could be really intense, but I have to say, the experience was incredible.
He brought over a sleek electronic rig (it looked straight out of a sci-fi movie!), and we heated the chamber to the perfect temperature with just a few button presses, no torch needed. I loved the consistent heat and control it gave us. Once it was at the right temp, we dropped a tiny bit of wax inside, and instantly, this super tasty vapor filled the rig. Compared to using a butane torch and a traditional dab rig, the e-rig felt safer and simpler, especially for someone like me who’s still relatively new to dabbing.
The flavor was surprisingly pure and smooth, and the high kicked in a bit faster than a typical flower session. There wasn’t any harshness like I expected, and we were able to dial in different temps to highlight subtle terpene profiles, something I never thought I’d care about before. Now I’m tempted to get my own e-rig for the convenience alone.
If you’re on the fence about dabbing or e-rigs, I’d say give them a shot! Just start small and gradually find the sweet spot for heat and dosage. Have any of you made the jump from torches to e-rigs? Let me know how your first time went!
